Here's a nice taster of current progress for the film.
The team are currently all animating so there'll be plenty posted as it gets rendered, but in the mean time here are some clips of rendered environments, characters and props to whet the appetite.

Here are Tom And Sophie,s Intro as a second

pass. Ideally the two walk cycles would have been recreated without the directional translation

from the base. Due to time constraints The Directors were happy to go with the translated cyclic version. We felt that the shot worked. Sam will also be seen at his front door in this opening scene.

Ive started to build the tallest character first, trying to bear in mind the height charts for the main characters,

"Rupert is top in his class in all of his studies and head of the school chess club. The total geek overlord of his merry bunch"

As the bus is nealry built, I feel it will be easier to know the Incidental characters can physically get through the doors (eg fat boy) errmm calorie challenged!

By using fewer windows I feel we can populate the bus a little quicker, my reason for building the bus even though I realise it wasnt on anyones brief,

I That I feel Can populate the bus with the a majority of the incidental characters in some of their enviorments

Here are some character designs for our film 'My Green Book'

My Green Book

Sam is 11 years old and is starting comprehensive school, like many children his age is nervous about the move, however unlike many children Sam suffers from ASD. Sam suffers from hypersensitive hearing and so almost all sound causing him pain, due to this Sam has a hard time keeping his concentration. To help himself with the change he has written his routine into a green book that he keeps with him to keep him focused on what to do, he also wears earmuffs to block out as much sound as he possibly can, however he is still very apprehensive about the change. Sam must soon learn to deal with this strange big world and find a place of solace for himself when things get to much to handle.
